The Local Government Unit of San Manuel has been hailed Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Awardee for two (2) consecutive years, 2019 and 2020, during the virtual 2021 ADAC Awarding Ceremony led by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
This award is given to LGUs in recognition of their exemplary efforts in the performance of their duties, responsibilities, supervision, and control in implementing the national government’s anti-illegal drug campaign.
The awarding ceremony is in accordance with the recently concluded 2019 and 2020 ADAC Performance Audit conducted by the DILG, in coordination with the members of the National Audit Team, composed of national representatives from the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Caritas Manila as CSO representative).
